Unli Prison Call is an independent telephone-number service operated by UKO Link Ltd.

Unli Prison Call and UKO Link Ltd are not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by, sponsored by or operated by HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS), the Ministry of Justice, His Majesty’s Government or any individual prison or other public authority.

Any reference on this website to a prison, HM Prison and Probation Service, the Ministry of Justice, a public authority or any other government organisation is provided solely for informational purposes and to explain how our service may be used.

Such references do not indicate or imply any official relationship, approval, sponsorship or endorsement.

3. PRISON APPROVAL AND RULES

Telephone numbers supplied by Unli Prison Call may be subject to the approval procedures, telephone rules, security requirements and other restrictions imposed by the relevant prison or prison telephone system.

Purchasing or receiving a telephone number from Unli Prison Call does not mean that the number has been approved by a prison.

Prison approval is a separate process over which UKO Link Ltd has no control.

We cannot guarantee:

that a prison will approve a telephone number;
how long a prison's approval process will take;
that a number which has previously been approved will remain approved;
that a particular prison will permit the use of the service;
that a prison's telephone system will remain compatible with the service; or
that prison telephone policies, procedures or security requirements will not change.

Customers and users of the service are responsible for complying with the applicable rules, procedures and instructions of the relevant prison.

Customers should contact the relevant prison directly where confirmation of its current telephone rules or number-approval procedures is required.

Prison approval is a separate process and may take longer.

Service availability and performance may occasionally be affected by matters outside our reasonable control, including:

telecommunications networks;
third-party telecommunications providers;
prison telephone systems;
planned or emergency maintenance;
network outages;
technical faults;
changes to prison policies or systems; and
other events outside our reasonable control.

failure to follow reasonable setup or service instructions supplied by us.

Nothing in this section affects any responsibility UKO Link Ltd may have where a failure arises from our own breach of contract, negligence or failure to provide the service with the standard required by applicable law.
